We get so excited when we see an outdoor wedding, especially one that overlooks the sea; so imagine our excitement when Katie Kaizer Photography sent us the incredible pictures of Hillary and Athe’s beautiful wedding on Nantucket Island!

With a stunning floral arch, pretty white chairs and THAT view, this couple’s wedding ceremony looks so sweet – and if you think that’s great just wait until you see how they styled their wedding reception!

We love everything about this wedding; from the totally amazing Vera Wang wedding dress and the bright colours of the wedding flowers, to the cool fire pit for the guests to gather around after dark…

“Athe and I met at Harvard Medical School in 2008, and have been dating for the past six years. We chose to have our wedding on Nantucket Island because it is our favourite place to relax and spend time together without distraction. The incredible natural beauty of the island is what we love most, and it was the perfect backdrop for our celebration.

“We were married overlooking the gorgeous coastline of Nantucket and the big, blue ocean; the venue gives an absolutely stunning view of this unique part of the island. The bridesmaids wore gorgeous coral colour dresses that looked amazing with the beautiful bouquets.

“Our favourite part of the wedding was having friends and family from all over the world and all parts of our lives together in one place to join in the celebration. The toasts at our rehearsal dinner and at our wedding were also incredibly thoughtful and a highlight of the entire experience for both of us.”
