You are going to love these earthy, romantic ideas for botanical wedding styling. If you would like an eco-conscious wedding, a natural, botanical theme could be perfect. Weddings that embrace foliage can be so beautifully unique too.

Think potted plants, herbs, and gorgeous greenery for elegant tablescapes. You could also give your guests seed packets as favours and use botanical prints for your stationery.

We adore floral chandeliers, table runners of greenery and pretty arrangements under bell jars. They would all be great decorations for this wedding theme.

So, here are some fabulous ideas to help inspire your botanical wedding styling.

Fun Post Wedding Shoot Picture Ideas

This post Fun Post Wedding Shoot Picture Ideas first appeared on The Wedding Community Blog

Your wedding pictures are one of the only parts of your wedding day that will stay with you forever. Although your wedding pictures are probably the best and most important pictures you will ever have taken, they’re sometimes quite formal. So what about having some fun post wedding shoot pictures taken?

Bride with painting over face for post wedding shoot

Compadrito Smile Post Wedding Shoot

That Moment Photo, based in Mexico, has taken fun to a whole new level! They have been taking couples into the streets of Mexico for fabulous post wedding shoot pictures. They call these session Compadrito Smile. Couples get to experience some of the non-tourist locations and interact with the Mexican people in their day-to-day lives. As well as having this opportunity, they can also visit the typical places like 5th Avenue of Playa del Carmen.

The First Married Moments

“Our couples love these sessions. Most of them have a session right after the wedding day. They are therefore more relaxed and enjoy their first moments of married life; we love it! It is impossible for us to have one favourite photo but we are sharing a selection of the ones we like best. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do!”

A Beautiful Summer Colshaw Hall Wedding

This post A Beautiful Summer Colshaw Hall Wedding first appeared on The Wedding Community Blog

Bride and groom kissing after Colshaw Hall wedding

Lily and Oliver’s Colshaw Hall wedding is simply stunning. They created such an elegant summer wedding, making the most of stunning summer blooms for the bridal bouquets and floral arrangements, and the natural summer light that lit up their beautiful venue.

We love Lily’s dress with its delicate lace back, and wait until you see Oliver and the groomsmen’s cool suits.

If you are looking for inspiration for your evening reception then you will love their wedding party! A photo booth, casino tables and a sparkling dance floor; what more could you want?

We hope you love these pictures by Jess Yarwood Photography as much as we do…

“We met at school in 1995 where we became best friends. I then went to university and travelled around Europe working for Thomas Cook. Oliver went to America to undertake a football scholarship and then went on to travel around Australia.

“However, we remained close friends and would often meet to catch up. Then in 2014 Oliver moved in with me as my house mate following a break up. It was from here that we realised that we were more than just friends, and began dating in June 2014. Oliver proposed in Las Vegas in September 2015.

Stella York and Jimmy Choo

“I wore a Stella York lace back dress from Bridal Haven in Tarporley. It was one of the first styles that I saw, and although I did try on different styles this was the dress I went back to. I wore sparkly Jimmy Choo shoes and I had a hair vine in my hair. I also wore a Tiffany pearl bracelet and my great auntie’s freshwater pearls.

The Stables, Colshaw Hall Wedding Ceremony

“We had a civil ceremony in The Stables at Colshaw Hall and then the reception was in the Peel Suite. We fell in love with the beautiful venue because it was simplistic and set in a beautiful rural location in Lower Peover, Cheshire.

Jess Yarwood’s Natural Style

“Jess Yarwood was our photographer. She had been a friend since school so it was important to us that she was part of our Colshaw Hall wedding. Her style is so natural and she becomes a big part of the day. We loved that Jess took us into the garden area of the venue and also took pictures on the bridge. She was perfect and made us feel so at ease.

Rose Gold, Glitter and Casino Tables

“Oliver proposed with an unusual ring. It included a stone called morganite which is rose gold in colour, so we based our wedding theme around this.

“Our flowers consisted of amnesia and white roses. Flowers lined the aisle and stood within candelabras on top of clear pillars with candles. Decorations included fans in the ceremony, glitter vodka shots and illuminated LOVE letters on the dance floor. We also had a photo booth for the evening and casino tables. Amy at Gorgeous Invites designed an engraved mirror which was the table plan, and we were able to keep this too.

Cupcakes for Everyone

“Our wedding cake was a selection of cupcakes with a top tier made out of sponge to cut. We had six different flavours to suit everyone’s taste. They were Victoria sponge, apple pie, chocolate, salted caramel, vanilla and lemon.
