Anna Georgina continues to enchant brides with powerfully feminine wedding dresses. The philosophy that haute couture designs should be accessible to every woman is fundamental to the brand, and there is definitely something for everyone in the gorgeous Anna Georgina Casablanca 2019 Bridal Collection.
Named after the Moroccan city, this collection is influenced by its East-meets-West roots. Think rich, unique florals, shimmering beadwork, chiffon, tulle, fitted silhouettes, and so much more. Representing the convergence of many influences to bring forth something fresh and unique, Anna Georgina Casablanca includes 12 jaw-dropping wedding dresses, two tops and four skirts.
The 2019 collection is sensual, modern and ravishing with so many exquisite details, including flouncy layers of tulle and blush mesh paired with bodices rich in bold floral details. In true Anna Georgina style there is an abundance of shimmering beadwork, bejewelled satin, soft chiffon skirts with high slits and deep plunging necklines, illusion lace sleeves and lace tattoo elements. There are also beautiful belts and bows in the collection; thin satin-covered belts tied in bows, wide ribbons of satin tied at the waist, and one truly amazing bow which you will see in a minute!
My favourite wedding dresses from the Anna Georgina Casablanca 2019 are these three beauties…
This is my favourite dress in the Casablanca collection. I love wedding dresses in blush, and I am so in love with Roxy. This really is something special, with a deep plunging neckline and cute lace tattoo detail across the chest. The plunging neckline is mirrored at the back and flows beautifully into the layers and layers of tulle skirt.
Oh my! Imagine your guests’ reactions when you walk down the aisle past them with this show-stopping bow trailing behind you. Grace features a sweetheart strapless lace bodice that sits elegantly atop of the incredible full tulle skirt.
If you’re looking for a strapless number then Anina will wow you! The beautiful white lace floral design floats gracefully over the dress and adds another depth of interest to the bodice. The nude underskirt brings with elegant white lace to life.
The Anna Georgina Casablanca 2019 collection includes wedding dresses in vogue colours including ivory, blush, nude and champagne. View the full collection below and find out more at annageorgina.co.za.

Happy summer holidays for those of you with children. I’m looking forward to spending days in the sun with our girls, making memories and having fun. Of course, I know I will probably have days when I’m pulling my hair out! If you’re having some ‘you time’, checking out the latest wedding inspiration, then today I have the loveliest floral wedding inspiration for you, curated by Gatherist and photographed by D’Arcy Benincosa Photography.
Fine Art photographer D’Arcy Benincosa runs ‘The PATH Workshop‘ for photographers and other wedding professionals. In these workshops she teaches how to create and capture wedding styling details to share with the world. For each, D’Arcy curates a cohesive and collaborative team and conceptualises the shoots so that photographers, stylists and florists alike can learn new skills.
For this wedding inspiration shoot, D’Arcy dedicated her PATH workshop to spring awakening, creating this ethereal and dreamy floral wedding inspiration. The gentle colour palette of soft mauve and blush tones creates an oh-so elegant feel to this wedding styling concept. There are plenty of chic details that build up a portrait of the day, and these styling ideas are easy to recreate for your own wedding day.
The floral designs, created by Sarah Winward, are of course the centre of attention for this shoot. Soft mauve and blush create the perfect colour combination and work beautifully with an almost burgundy foliage, creating a subtle contrast. Snake’s head fritillary and hellebores create such visual delight within the arrangements and bouquets.
The whole styling concept is effortlessly chic with a wonderful ambiance and provides a modern take on a refined, elegant wedding. There’s nothing I love more than wedding styling ideas that incorporate trends in a stylish and timeless way.
Simple, modern wedding table decor captures the essence of this romantic shoot. Dressed with a soft grey linen tablecloth, runner and napkins, the textures add depth and interest to the table styling. A few candles, beautiful foliage and single stems of snake’s head fritillary finish the look perfectly.
The bridal style is soft and elegant. A floaty tulle white dress and gorgeous dresses in mauve and blush perfectly complement the colour pallet of this concept.
The alluring styling details of this floral wedding inspiration with mauve and blush tones are perfect inspiration for those who want to create a wedding day look that is fresh and modern.

An urban loft, romantic details and a whole lot of pretty… If you’re looking for ways to style a blank canvas space then you are sure to adore these wedding styling ideas.
This modern urban loft wedding styling includes minimalist white details, rustic edge wedding stationery with modern print, a beautiful yet simplistic tablescape and elegant bridal style. The dusty blush tones of the floral designs, together with the dark green foliage, are the perfect colour palette to bring the stark white walls of the loft to life.
Dark wood and metal tables and chairs are the base for the beautiful floral arrangements, with chic white plates, rose gold cutlery and a simple white tulle table runner completing the look.
I adore the colours of the floral arrangements and bouquet. Hellebores feature heavily, and these on-trend blooms make a beautiful addition to any bridal flowers. An arch background is a great way to brighten up a wall or make a focal point, and I love the foliage arch used in this shoot. The whole vibe is modern and romantic with a touch of rustic charm.
Neutral make-up and effortless hair, along with the absolutely stunning wedding dress ‘Stevie’ by Made With Love Bridal, creates a natural and elegant bridal style. I just love this wedding dress. The nude underlay beautifully highlights the unique handmade lace – it’s so gorgeous!!
Huge thanks to Ben Yew Photography for sharing these beautiful fine art pictures of this modern urban loft wedding styling. Grab and cuppa and enjoy scrolling though these fabulous ideas.
“Brought together with modern and romantic elements, this styled shoot focused on the merging of modern clean lines and soft feminine details.
“Geometric shapes and the subtleness of blind embossing inspired the minimalistic design of the backdrop, cake and stationery. The colour palette of soft dusty blush tones and the layering of delicate foliages and organic blooms added to the romantic feel of the setting.
“Our bride wore an effortlessly romantic gown made of delicate lace and soft nude tones. Her loose twisted bun hairstyle and soft romantic make-up with a hint of a blush tones completed her feminine, simple look.
“All the elements blend together seamlessly to inspire modern brides with a love for organic and delicate details.”

Today I’m sharing pictures from a beautiful, relaxed wedding in the Norfolk countryside. Jess and Tom’s wedding style was rustic and elegant, with so many pretty details. Jess created a lot of the wedding details herself, including the stationery and table decorations; she is very talented!
I really love Jess’ bridal bouquet. Full of foliage, it works so well with the rustic vibe. Their reception venue, a local village hall, provided a great space to style with rustic wedding decor, including a cool pallet bar, wooden seating plan, hessian bunting, lanterns and beautiful rectangular tables with white wooden chairs.
Jess’ bridal style is so relaxed. Her lace Monsoon wedding dress is absolutely gorgeous and shows that you don’t need to spend thousands on the perfect dress. The blush pink bridesmaid dresses from Next really complement Jess’ lacy number too.
If you’re looking for wedding inspiration that’s natural and rustic but with a modern twist then you’ll love these wonderful ideas, captured by Grace Elizabeth Photo and Film.
“Tom and I met through a mutual friend when we went out for a meal.
“Tom’s proposal was cute and relaxed by the river near my parents’ house; a route we’d very often walked. We’d spoken about getting engaged but I had no idea it would happen! That made it even more special.”
“My wedding dress was from Monsoon. I tried on a few in different wedding shops but none of them really stood out, but the one I picked was just what I envisioned. It was simple, elegant and lacey with a beautiful bow at the back – I felt so special!
“My bridesmaids wore dusty pink dresses from Dorothy Perkins. The tops of their dresses were lace which correlated well with mine.
“Tom wore a bright blue suit from Next and the boys wore a similar colour suit from Debenhams. The men’s ties were dusty pink, and Tom wore a floral blue and dusty pink patterned tie.”
“I’d describe our wedding styling as natural, relaxed and a little bit rustic. I love foliage and neutral natural colours. My inspiration was probably from Pinterest and my love for things wooden. Our seating plan was handmade with white calligraphy and we had logs for our cupcake stands.
“I did the table decorations and foliage myself along with the folded napkins, name cards and also the favours. My grandad and I made a bar out of pallets which worked so well, and we had buckets full of drinks in front of it. I designed and made our wedding invitations too which was really enjoyable; I was so pleased with how they turned out.
“My love of foliage meant that I had a high percentage of foliage in my bouquet. There were also dusty pink roses and thistles as the main flowers.
“Our main sit down meal was Thai, and it was amazing! Everyone said how different and unusual it was, but also how tasty. In the evening The Food Dude provided the most amazing crepes and waffles, and they arrived in their adorable done up horse box. That was definitely a hit!
“During our meal we had an acoustic set of relaxing music and then later on in the evening we had a full dancing set. The band are actually friends of ours and they did a fantastic job.
“Tom’s nanny kindly made our wedding cake; she is so talented! We had a three tier cake, with two fruit tiers and one Victoria sponge. It was white iced with a beautiful arrangement of handcrafted sugar flowers and foliage flowing down the sides. It was amazing!
“We found our wedding photographer on Instagram. I searched high and low for the right photographer and eventually came across Grace – I just loved her style! I honestly can’t pick one favourite picture – they are all incredible – but I really like those that were completely natural, especially the ones when we are laughing.”
“I remember being really nervous on the morning of the wedding, but as soon as all the prep started the time just flew. Everyone I spoke to said make sure you spend time with your new husband, and the couple photos time was great for that.
“Our advice to other couples is to enjoy every moment. Also, if you can do it and save money, do it, and if you’ve got clever family, let them help! Don’t be afraid to shop around and spend lots of time talking through things, and ask yourself, ‘do we really need it?'”
