Cosy, Romantic Wedding Styling with Antique Tones

These cosy and romantic wedding styling ideas show that sometimes very simple styling is all it takes to create real beauty.

Opulent, rich fabrics like grey velveteen linens mix beautifully with the gorgeous muted tones of the floral design. I love the pink, blush and grey with a hint of dark burgundy in the floral arrangements, and the gold table cutlery. This ethereal, romantic styling would look fabulous for weddings in any season, but particularly autumn or cosy winter weddings.

A four tier wedding cake, with a beautiful grey marbled look and finished with delicate flowers, complements the stationery beautifully.

The bride wears the most beautiful blush wedding dress that’s elegant, floaty, and has such an air of romance.

If you are looking for a modern approach to wedding styling, you’ll love these simple, elegant and very romantic ideas. So, feast your eyes on these wonderful pictures by Judy Pack…

Modern Table Setting

“We designed this shoot to be cosy, a bit modern, fresh and very romantic. Grey velveteen linens gave a cosy winter base, and the antique gold container of the beautiful flowers in rich, muted, antique tones added a romantic touch. Matte plates and matte gold flatware kept the table setting modern.

“A unique salad, “Winter Table”, featuring a Poached Pear and Blue Cheese Marble on Black Pepper Sable and White Balsamic Vinaigrette was created as a fun riff on a typical plate of greens. This perfect first course also looked perfect with the décor!” – Laura Remmert Events

The Textures of Winter

“Our stationery suite celebrates the textures of winter. We pulled this concept from the setting itself, and the colours of the flowers and table decor. In the winter Wave Hill is a showcase of whites, browns and muted nature.

“Invitations featured hand calligraphy in a deep burgundy tone, pulled from the floral arrangements, and envelopes lined in an individual marbled paper pattern. The variances in each speckled piece of paper perfectly matched the nature of the rich, grey velvet cloths on each table – all with subtle differences and complex colour.” – Regas Studio
