We have serious wedding swoon today over Anna and Dil’s totally amazing wedding styling.

A gorgeous beaded wedding dress, floral bridesmaid dresses, dapper tweed suits, cool balloons with tassels (everywhere!), amazing flowers, fun tablescapes, and the colours… well just wait and see! Oh and the boat ride and dancing on the Southbank to the buskers… I mean, come on, what else does a wedding need?

It looks like Laura of Babb Photo had an brilliant time capturing totally awesome wedding…

“We wanted to get married somewhere meaningful and that encompassed all the things we like doing, such as eating good food, drinking wine and having fun! London and the Southbank are really special to us both, as I spent many weekends there with my family when I was younger, and Dil moved there from North Wales to go to university.

“As I grew up as a Catholic a church ceremony was really important to me, and although I rarely go to church now, marrying in church was something that I’d always wanted to do. Father Tom of St Etherdreda’s church was really helpful, and on his advice we decided not to have a full Catholic Mass – as Dil isn’t Catholic it wouldn’t have been fully inclusive to us both.

“As I love balloons they were in from the start. We used them as markers for our walk along the Thames, which was a great way to show everyone the route. It was a bit windy though and they did get wrapped around a few tourists!

“As we can be quite restless we wanted to move about during the day, which is why we decided to have a party on a boat on The Thames. This was fantastic as it meant we could have a bit of outdoor space if the weather was nice.

“I got the idea for our flowers after visiting South Africa with my mum, years ago. There was a wedding in the hotel that had a huge display of little vases of flowers, and from there I was set on having them for my wedding. We wanted really bright colours, so Andy, our florist, used individual flowers in each vase to create a colour block effect which tied in with the colours of my bouquet.

“I just can’t stop telling Laura of Babb Photo how great she was, and everyone has remarked on how brilliant our photos are. She has honestly captured the true spirit of our wedding day.”
