For 2019 Elbeth Gillis proudly presents two beautiful bridal collections. I shared Arniston Blue, a collection of sexy bridal separates, earlier in the week, and today we’re looking at the beautiful Elbeth Gillis Luminescence 2019 collection.
The strapline for Luminescence is “Gowns to make you glow”, and it’s so true of these wedding dresses. Soft and gentle, yet dazzling and alluring, this collection of 10 dresses reveals Elbeth’s masterful ability to curate beauty and style. The dresses dance between diaphanous, tulle-covered skirts with shimmering, hand-beaded bodices, and gently-falling, satin skirts with demur, floral-appliquéd bodices. Necklines alternately plunge or brush the collarbones… just divine.
Well known for her exquisite shoots, this year Elbeth decided to shoot in Arniston, a small seaside town along the south coast of South Africa. The collection comes alive in the town’s warm sunlight and the dresses shimmer in the light.

Erika
Erika is the epitome of romance, with sweetheart neckline, light tulle skirt overlay and fitted, nude-look bodice. The pretty scattered beaded 3-D flowers that adorn Erika make this wedding dress so romantic.
Violette
I am so in love with Violette. Made of stretch satin with a bateau neckline and deep illusion insets on the sides of the bodice, this ball-gown is sexy sophistication. The V-back, hidden pockets and striking silver beading with embroidered flower appliqué give Violette real wow factor.
Rosemary
The leafy, floral vines delicately embroidered onto the tulle overlay make this dress A-line wedding dress whimsical and captivating.
