“Combining gold, a luxurious and warm colour, with a soft pastel blush pink and lace gave this super-romantic theme a vintage feel, perfect for a cosy winter wedding.

“The table was styled with stunning French antiques, including a gold Limoges dinner set with hand painted details – very beautiful and ornate. Gold cutlery and port glasses were added to complement this and encourage the elegance of the setting. The blush pink sherry glasses and antique crystal wine glasses were used for added decadence, picking up on the gold details. Romantic lighting and warmth was created by the brass candelabras and cream candles in the centre of the table, adding to the dreamy winter wedding feel, and pine cones were incorporated for a natural, warm accent, which combined with the lovely white flowers.

“Our winter wedding lunch contained all sorts of goodies, including vegetable cake with goats cheese and carrot, a creamy pumpkin soup with carrot and parsnip, and a green salad with winter pear and edible violets. The gold detailed wedding cake was orange infused chocolate cake with a dark chocolate ganache filling, combined with light Italian meringue and cream cheese buttercream with the zest of fresh orange. The cakes white frosting with gold sparkles complemented the theme beautifully.

“We added a little sparkle to our bride’s vintage inspired hairstyle with a statement headpiece with lots of rhinestones, and inspired by the amazing wedding dress, the bride’s bouquet was made with luzurious avalanche roses, white nerine and lysianthus.”
