Autumn Elopement Inspiration at 99 Sudbury

This autumn elopement inspiration shoot at 99 Sudbury in Toronto is so cute. A rich colour palette of burgundy, brown and gold sets the tone for cosy, romantic, autumn wedding ideas.

Some wonderful ‘before’ pictures show the couple cuddling up in bed, having fun and getting ready together, and this really adds to the intimacy of the shoot – exactly what an elopement is all about.

The industrial setting of 99 Sudbury is the perfect space for the multi-layered textures that bring this shoot to life, with suede, velvet and fur all helping create a romantic, cosy vibe. Magnificent floral displays complete the styling, including a large ceremony display, pretty table arrangements, and fabulous large suspended florals over the dining table.

The bride rocks a sleek wedding dress, paired with a velvet cape, and the groom looks mighty handsome too in a black velvet jacket from Guess.

These styling ideas are perfect for not only an intimate elopement but a wedding of any size. I hope you get bags of autumn wedding inspiration from these magnificent pictures by Scarlet O’Neill…

All Kinds of Textures

“When I was first pulling together ideas for this elopement shoot I knew I wanted it to be as real as possible and also insanely sexy.

“Focusing on ‘touch’ I used all kinds of textures. The groom’s shoes were a dark suede, as were the menus, place cards and the envelope liner for the elopement announcement. Dark suede dining chairs helped to round out the design.

“We used velvet in the ceremony backdrop, ribbons, pillows, table runner, custom bridal cape and our groom’s jacket. Finally, fur helped bring a cosy vibe to the design, featuring on the dining and sweets table. I also brought in fruit which had a similar fur or suede texture to it.

“I love how natural and real this shoot looked, and all the vendors played a huge role in helping to achieve this.”
