Simple, Romantic Garden Wedding Inspiration

I’m so in love with today’s romantic garden wedding inspiration shoot… it’s making me long for summer when we can enjoy the outdoors and al fresco dining! These simple styling ideas for an elegant garden party are so dreamy; I just know you will love them as much as I do.

To start with the colours are divine. The combination of loads of different shades of green with pretty peach and white instantly evokes thoughts of the great outdoors. The floral design is stunning, from the extraordinary oversized bridal bouquet hand tied with a peach silk ribbon, to the beautiful blooms that are the focal point of the table design. To me, these flowers are the epitome of long lazy days in the sunshine, and are just perfect for a garden wedding.

The tablescape is elegant and romantic, styled with contemporary striped table runners laid across the table to create each individual place setting. Finished with a marble charger, elegant china and a sage green napkin laid with an individual flower, it’s simple elegance at its best!

The bridal style is once again elegant and chic in keeping with the concept. I’ve fallen in love with this wedding dress ‘Jaymes’ by Alexandra Grecco – it’s the perfect balance of sophisticated and sexy. It features a deep V-neckline that is perfectly mirrored in the back.

Beautifully captured by the talented Christine Gosch, the whole design is perfectly simple and unfussy, yet classic and romantic too. Here’s to pretty summer garden weddings!

Beautiful Elements

“Melanie of Mayhar deigns curated the perfect garden wedding inspiration shoot for The Living Room Workshop by Michelle Boyd.

“With differing hues of greens and a pop of fair peach, this shoot included so many beautiful elements. There was a perfect marriage of elegant and modern fashion, a marvellous cake, and a picturesque backdrop of the gardens of Barr Mansion in Austin, Texas. Styling details included fabulous jewellery, fresh fruit, and an understated invitation suite. The florals tied everything together to make for a simple yet romantic end to our time together.”
