Winter White and Copper Wedding Styling

This post Winter White and Copper Wedding Styling first appeared on The Wedding Community Blog

Today’s shoot is all about white and copper wedding styling, and it’s so beautiful and elegant. White and copper make a timeless pair. They shine like no other, and are the perfect match for a winter wedding.

Copper has become a really popular choice for wedding styling in recent years, and looks amazing for a winter wedding. Think about how it will glisten and shine under the twinkle of ambient lighting. Together with crisp white that resembles snow, this is an amazing colour palette.

Luxe Feel

This winter white and copper wedding styling has a wonderful luxe feel about it. The cosy vibe is modern and inviting, and these ideas offer something unique and different to the traditional colours of winter weddings we see at this time of year.

The styling team used an array of pretty green foliage which really pops against the white. I love the tablescape design laid out on a fur table cover – it looks so cosy! The place settings including marble chargers, white china and copper cutlery look so modern and sophisticated. Copper votives, vases and a pretty winter floral arrangement complete the table styling.

Simple and Elegant

The team kept the bride’s style simple and elegant. I love her cosy grey feather bolero that finishes off her outfit perfectly for a winter wedding. Her hair and make-up were also simple and elegant to match her style.

If you love cheese then you will love the cake that features in this shoot. ‘Why have cake when you can eat cheese?’… I second that – I’m a cheese-o-holic!

There is such attention to detail. Copper also features through the writing in this shoot, in the cheese sign and board, and also for the name place cards. Calligraphy in copper ink is one of my favourite wedding trends right now.

Amazing Local Talent

This white and copper wedding styling concept is so versatile, so although it works well for a winter wedding, it will look ace all year round too.

Huge thanks to Tiffany of The Singlers Photography for sending me these lovely pictures to inspire you…

“Creativity often inspires more creativity. That’s what we found with this winter inspired styled shoot, incorporating some of San Diego’s amazing local talent. The city is exploding with emerging creatives who are pushing the envelope and not afraid to try something new, cool and different.

“This shoot incorporates incredible florals, styled decor, a custom illuminated signsin, beautiful hand lettering, and a wedding cake made entirely out of cheese! What could be better? As photographers we were excited to be a part of this creative and eclectic shoot. It was awesome to work with this inspirational dream team.”
