And the winner of The Wedding Community’s Picture of the Year 2016 is… Neil Thomas Douglas Photography!
Huge congratulations to Neil Thomas Douglas Photography, winner of our Picture of the Year 2016 competition. Taken on The Necropolis in Glasgow, many factors, including patience, helped Neil to get this incredible shot. After positioning Chelsea and Martin in front of the amazing view and beautiful sunset, Neil then waited in his spot for 10 minutes for the light to be perfect. It was worth the wait!
Neil was ‘well chuffed’ when he heard he’d won…
“I am delighted to have won the 2016 Picture of the Year award. I am a man of few words, but I’d like to thank Chelsea and Martin for believing in my vision, and for climbing to the top of a rather high necropolis to get this view of the city at sunset.
“I’d also like to thank everyone who took the time out of their day to vote for me, and also The Wedding Community for hosting a fantastic competition.”
