Seven Reasons to Book Welsh Games

This post Seven Reasons to Book Welsh Games first appeared on The Wedding Community Blog

Welsh Games has quickly become one of South Wales’ most popular group activity days. Their hilarious, wacky events welcome up to 250 people every Saturday and are sure to have stag, hen, birthday and corporate teams alike in stitches all day long.

The event features nine themed games, each celebrating all things Wales. So whether you’re trying to outrun your best friend to score a try before your bungee gets twanged back, prodding your mother with an oversized leek or negotiating your way around an obstacle course in a huge dragon suit, you’re definitely in for a amusing day out!

Welsh Games Rugby Run

Welsh Games is especially popular with Cardiff hen parties, operating every Saturday from March to October. So, if you’re thinking of organising something for next year now is an ideal time to book as they are offering a free place for every group of more than 12 people.

Sarah Rogers has put together seven reasons why you should book a day out at Welsh Games…

Laughing Out Loud

Reading the reviews the first thing that stands out is everyone saying how much they laughed. Whether you’re clinging to a bucking sheep or wrestling in a Dafydd (the only one in the village) fat suit, the day is certain to bring a smile to your face.

Nine Hilarious Games

Our nine themed games feature a variety of large inflatables, fat suits, catapults and bungees. Each is designed for maximum fun and is sure to have your group in stitches. Your group’s very own Activity Host will lead you around the games and supervise the fun.

Bring Your Granny!

That’s right, you can bring your granny along to this event – people of all ages have taken part before. With games designed for maximum fun, whilst not being overly energetic, people of all physical ability, age and size can take part.

Team Bonding

There’s no better ice-breaker in South Wales for stag and hen groups. Each inclusive game is designed to ensure that everybody can take part in a friendly but competitive way. The Mangold Dangling allows the stag, hen or birthday boy/girl to get their own back on the group, as does the Welsh Shower, where they can also get their comeuppance!

Be Competitive

Oh yes, points mean prizes at Welsh Games. So competitive types can battle it out with their mates as the winner takes all.

Fancy Dress

It’s all about the fancy dress at Welsh Games. The majority of groups get dressed up for the occasion, just to add to the fun. So, make sure you bring your Welsh finest, since the best dressed team win a bottle of Prosecco!

Free Photos of Your Welsh Games Day Out

What goes on tour… ends up on Facebook! Your Activity Host will snap away with their camera as you move around the games, and the photos are available by the end of the day for all to see.

So there you have it. Get yourselves down to Welsh Games for the most hilarious day out you’ve had in years!
