Pantone Colour of the Year 2016 – Serenity Wedding Styling

Following last week’s Rose Quartz Wedding Styling mood board, today we are bringing you wedding styling ideas using another of the Pantone colours for 2016, serenity.

Serenity is a shade a blue. “Weightless and airy, like the expanse of the blue sky above us, serenity comforts with a calming effect, bringing a feeling of respite even in turbulent times. A transcendent blue, serenity provides us with a naturally connected sense of space.”

From dusty shades to pale shades of blue, serenity is a gorgeous colour for weddings all year round, especially spring and summer. This colour is spot on no matter what your wedding style; modern, vintage or chic, serenity is timeless.

Create a wedding tablescape using blue table linen or runners, beautiful chinaware or simple blue napkins for a splash of the colour. For sweet treats for your guests, how about yummy cake pops or macaroons in serenity?

If you are looking to wear an alternative colour to white, then a wedding dress in serenity will really wow, or you could even just wear a pair of beautiful blue shoes.

Here are some ideas for serenity wedding styling.
