Judging by the recent Fall 2016 bridal runway shows, the key words to remember when it comes to wedding hair trends for 2016 is ‘keep it simple.’ Years ago, nobody would have dreamed of sporting a ponytail on their wedding day. However, the models at Berta’s Fall 2016 catwalk show demonstrated that ponytails are incredible fashionable for brides now. I also love the elegant low buns that models wore at the Galia Lahav catwalk show. If you are looking for Galia Lahav wedding dresses, they are available at Browns Bride in London. Berta bridal gowns can be found at The Wedding Club in London and Birmingham.
The reason why I think ‘the humble ponytail’ and the ‘simple low bun’ are key wedding hair trends for 2016 is that as wedding dresses become more elaborate and embellished, the hairstyles need to be a complete contrast, in other words, the exact opposite. There is no point in choosing a bridal gown encrusted with jewels and opting for an ornate wedding hairstyle. If you want to wear your hair down with no tiara or veil, do so. Remember, you have to opt for a hairstyle that of course suits you, but more importantly complements your bridal gown. Take a look at the two wedding hair trends that are going to dominate next year and beyond.
