This post about the Quintessentially Weddings Atelier at Claridge’s is literally hot off the press as I have just hot footed it back from the event. It started Friday evening and is on until Sunday 8th November. As you would expect, many luxury high end brands were exhibiting there, including designers Vivienne Westwood, Julien Macdonald, and Phillipa Lepley, stationery company Leeming Brothers, honeymoon specialists Mr & Mrs Smith, and macaron company Ladurée.
I resisted the temptation to linger at the champagne bar and instead thought that my duty to the followers of Style & the Bride is to take a look and photograph some of the brands exhibiting.
It was exactly what I anticipated the event to be and more, in other words it more than lived up to my expectations. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Claridges, just off Bond Street in London, it is an exquisitely elegant hotel, and was the perfect venue for the Quintessentially Weddings Atelier. I know from talking to many brides-to-be over the years that they often find bridal shows a little overwhelming as they don’t know what to look at first. What I liked about the atelier was that it featured a wide range of luxury wedding brands, but was not saturated with companies exhibiting. You were able to take your time at each stand without feeling that you should move on because you will run out of time.
Here are my highlights from the Quintessentially Weddings Atelier
