When a bride wears a simple yet stunning linen wedding dress with a pair of brown leather shoes, you know it’s going to be a cool wedding. With a retro vibe, relaxed feel and fabulous styling elements, Cori and Justin’s wedding is sure to inspire!
The couple kept their styling very simple and made a lot of the details themselves, and it all worked so well with their venue, Events on Main. Retro styling details include a fabulous macramé and copper pipe ceremony backdrop (that Cori made herself), peacock chairs and even a disco ball. The tablescapes have a rustic look, simply dressed with eucalyptus leaves and white tapered candles with clear candlestick holders of varying styles and heights, that they picked up from charity shops throughout the year. Little personal elements such as antlers from Cori’s grandpa’s time spent hunting make this wedding really individual.
Cori’s six bridesmaids look beautiful in mismatched dresses in muted grey and blush colours. The dresses complement each other and have similar tulle skirts, but each has a different bodice design – some plain, some with intricate beadwork. The muted grey and blush colour palette is used throughout, and looks great with the eucalyptus used for the runner, chair decor, ceremony backdrop and bouquets.

Retro Style
“Cori and Justin married on a gorgeous June day in Canton, Georgia. Their venue space, Events on Main, gave these artists a blank canvas to work with, and they brought it to life in such a beautiful way with their impeccable style.
“Most of their wedding was DIY, which they pulled off perfectly. Cori kept the vision for the day simple, with copper accents and a gorgeous linen dress designed by Elizabeth Dye. She managed to incorporate her retro style with things like the macramé backdrop she made herself, and 70’s wicker peacock chairs.
“At the end of the night Cori and Justin drove away in Justin’s dad’s 1964 convertible Rambler, the same car they took drives in when they first started dating.”
