I’m delighted to feature the beautiful wedding of Hayley and Chris that took place at the stunning wedding venue, Mythe Barn. Delicate pastel colours are always a popular choice for summer weddings, and when paired with gorgeous flowers, beautiful natural wood and romantic candles, they set the scene for a beautiful rustic wedding.
If you’re having a summer wedding in the countryside then it lends itself to being a floral-filled day. Hayley and Chris chose pretty country garden florals in shades of pink and white, which form the base of this rustic wedding styling.
Flowers adorn each of the wedding tables, surrounding large storm vases with pillar candles that sit upon and around natural oak slices for a touch of rustic elegance. Hayley’s posy style bouquet with roses, dahlias, daisies and astilbe is also perfect for a summer wedding.
Surrounded by the Leicestershire countryside, the rustic elements are right at home. I love the DIY touches like the Prosecco and popcorn stations (my kind of wedding) and the beer barrel cake stand surrounded by gypsophila covered crates. Even the wooden place names on the tables add to the rustic nature of this beautiful wedding.
With cornfields surrounding the barn, photographer James Andrew captured Hayley and Chris in a fun, relaxed way that tells the story of their wedding day perfectly.
I hope you enjoy the pictures of this pretty pastel pink wedding at Mythe Barn.
