And the winner is… Steve Gerrard Photography!
This incredible picture by Steve Gerrard Photography received the most votes in our poll to win our May 2017 Picture of the Month. Taken at Kirsty and Nathan’s wedding in North Wales, Steve told us a bit about the picture, which is one of his favourites…
Picturesque Spot
“Sometimes we book clients who we instantly gel with and their wedding can’t come fast enough; Kirsty and Nathan definitely fell into that category as soon as we met. They’re just great fun and don’t take themselves seriously at all. On top of that they were getting married at the absolutely stunning Nant Gwrtheyrn on the North Wales coast. It’s a truly picturesque spot down by the sea and feels like some secret village locked amongst the cliff faces. It’s so cool!
“On the day there were constant laughs and it was obvious how much they were made for each other, but also how much their friends and family loved them. An emotional ceremony was followed by beautiful weather, hilarious speeches (don’t mention the golf!) and crazy dance routines.
“We truly lucked out just before the sun set when we ventured up the hill above the venue as the sun disappeared over the horizon. Capturing Kirsty and Nathan taking some time to themselves with that backdrop makes this one of my favourite photos I’ve taken.”
