Congratulations to Jamiri Photography, winner of The Wedding Community’s March 2017 Picture of the Month. This beautiful picture received the most votes in our poll to become our third Picture of the Year finalist. Camilla of Jamiri Photography told us that Jenny and Lee’s wedding was a day of tears and laughter…

A Very Emotional Day

“Jenny and Lee married on 27th August last year at Norwich Castle. It was a beautiful, intimate ceremony filled with family and friends. Together with their children, Olivia and Ethan, we’d previously met up for a pre-wedding photo shoot in a local park, so we got to know each other really well. On the day, Jenny, Lee and their guests made me feel so welcome that I felt like an honorary family member for the day.

“It had taken a long time to get to their wedding day so it was a very emotional day. Their son Ethan did the most amazing reading that left the whole room in tears (myself included!). And from tears to laughter, the rest of the day was a blast.

Fun, Family and Friends

“Everyone piled onto a red bus which took them to Wroxham where we boarded ‘Queen of the Broads’ for an evening of partying on the Norfolk Broads. The dancing didn’t stop all evening. People were dancing along with us on other boats as we sailed by – we even had a conga line going! It was a lovely day filled with fun, family and friends.

“I took this photo after the ceremony as we went under the bridge of the castle for their group photos and confetti. While I was organising everyone in two lines for the confetti walk, I noticed Jenny and Lee having this quiet moment together in the midst of their guests. A little sidestepping to keep some guests out of shot meant I took this photo without anyone realising. I think it really shows the love and emotion between them and captures a very special moment.”
