Today we are thrilled to share the pictures of this stunning blush and grey wedding table styling shoot. This shoot showcases the creative talents of wedding planner and stylist Louise of One Stylish Day.
Her vision was to create a pure and innocent look that was also warm and sensual, and the result is incredible.
Blush and grey work so well together. The combination is a popular colour pallet for weddings as it not only looks beautiful, it works for all seasons.
Beautiful blush flowers, cut glass, ornate silver cutlery, an abundance of candles and stylish stationery set the scene for this fabulous blush and grey tablescape.
Our thanks go to Kate McCarthy Photography and One Stylish Day for sharing this inspiration with us.
Warm, Sensual Undertones
“The brief was to create a pure, natural scheme with a lightness of touch, but elevate it from the everyday to the ethereal. On the surface this is a pure and innocent scheme, but look closer and you’ll see it has warm, sensual undertones.
“Pale watercolour blush pink and the softest dove grey gave a dreamy quality, but lush green foliage and antique silver stopped the scheme becoming too girly.”
Flowers and Lush Green Foliage
“Spread across the floor, climbing up and creeping around the table, abundant flowers and lush green foliage escaped their usual positions on tables or pedestals. Glossy blackberries looked ripe for the picking.”
Contemporary Table Setting
“Indulgent antique silver cutlery and sparkling cut glass tempered with contemporary organic crockery created a contemporary table setting.
“Vellum stock is soft and elegant, but the raw edges, handwritten script and black ink are innovative and very 2017.”
Simple and Elegant
“The simple and elegant duo of white wedding cakes was understated and chic, and flowers and fruit added lusciousness.
“Confetti is not just for throwing, used here as part of the décor. We displayed handful of dried petals in antique silver trays and glass boxes.”
