As it is the Queen’s 90th birthday today, what better day to bring you something British! This British, floral styled wedding shoot is awesome and such fun. If you are looking for inspiration for your wedding flowers, then these ideas are going to fill you with joy.
The styling team behind this shoot have created the most incredibly beautiful floral displays; from bouquets to floral crowns, you are going to be in floral heaven! Oh, and just wait until you see the gin bar!
Big thanks go to Velvet Storm Photography for sharing these beautiful pictures. Naomi of Styled by Naomi told us a little bit about the shoot…
“When we arranged this shoot we wanted the overall look to be achievable for others, and to inspire people with feasible ideas. We also wanted to celebrate all things British.
“Everything was British made and local, right down to the wedding gown. When it comes to sourcing items and suppliers for their wedding we want people to think a little closer to home, as, although some of us are keep to do this when we shop, people don’t always keep things as local as they perhaps could when they plan their wedding. We feel this shoot shows how much smaller suppliers pour their hearts into their work, something we wanted to make people aware of.
“The shoot took place in a field in Sussex which is surrounded by beautiful countryside. All the flowers used in the shoot were grown in the field we shot in by a lady who grows wedding flowers for couples to pick up in buckets. Our very British gin bar was from ‘Gin and Bear It’, run by partners John and Aaron, complete with Aubrey the Morris Minor.”
