The opulent hues of autumn are stunning, and the rich tones of red and orange are perfect not only for autumn weddings but weddings in all seasons. Inspired by the work of film maker Wes Anderson, today’s wedding inspiration shoot is, just like his work, awesome!
The raw industrial setting gave the creative team a blank canvas to style, and the fabulous florals in autumnal hues bring the venue to life. The concept is really intimate with minimalistic yet rich and opulent styling. I am in love with the quirky details and the gorgeous rustic colours.
To start with, the stationery gives a glimpse of the wedding style; elegant, opulent and oh-so stylish. Designed with hand-drawn foliage elements, this then carries on through the styling with some of the most amazing floral designs. Blooms in rich reds, golden browns, burnt orange and wonderful dark green foliage form the base for the styling.
When it comes to wedding cakes, I always think it’s important your cake should reflect your styling. Nika Yazdani took the blue from the wedding stationery set and used this for the bottom tier, and then made cute gold leaves which scatter the top two white tiers. It’s gorgeous and perfect for the autumnal theme!
A green and navy checked suit and bow tie gives the groom a relaxed and quirky look, whilst the bride wears an epic Kirsten Paige long sleeved white dress with pretty embroidered bodice and sleeves. She looks beautiful with natural make-up and her long hair flowing free, with a fabulous floral crown to match the bouquet and floral arrangements.
Jei and Gaile of Wanderlust Creatives and the team created such incredible wedding styling ideas, their attention to detail really shows through in this concept.
