Our congratulations go to Tammie Louise Photography, the winner of our February 2019 Picture of the Month. Taken at Jade and James’ wedding in Gloucestershire, Tammie explained how the couple were happy to try different ideas to get ‘the shot’…

Dancing in the Rain

“I absolutely loved photographing the amazing wedding of Jade and James who married in December last year at the stunning Kingscote Barn. It was such an incredible day filled with so many emotions, from Jade receiving a beautiful gift and card from James during the bridal preparations, to the walk down the aisle where James and their son Max stood watching her, to the emotional speech from Jade’s mum. It was simply perfect.

“Jade and James are very creative people. It therefore came as no surprise that when I suggested dancing in the rain they didn’t question me or look at me like I was utterly bonkers. They were up for anything to get ‘the shot’, and at one point we were all dancing with smoke bombs. As it was so close to Christmas we had twinkly lights on a Christmas tree whilst dancing with sparklers too.

“It was great to be a part of such a perfect and fun wedding.”
