In our recent wedding cake advice article ‘2016 Wedding Cake Trend Predictions‘, by Marie Sinclair of GC Couture, Marie talks about one of the hot trends for wedding cakes this year being beautiful pastel shades. Marie says “Pastels are so pleasing to the eye, and so much can be done in terms of the style and design of cake.”

We have long been fans of pastel shades, from baby pinks and blues, to subtle yellows and cool minty greens; what’s not to love? No matter what season you’re wedding, there is a pretty pastel colour for everyone.
