Cosawes Barton, a beautiful historic estate set in 17 acres of Cornish woodlands and fields, is the most beautiful setting for this natural, opulent wedding styling.
A modern take on a fairytale wedding, under the cover of elegant stretch tents in the grounds of the venue the magic comes alive. Greenery is big in the wedding world right now and features heavily in this shoot. The green is striking against the white canopy, and with the use of stark white table linen the table decor really stands out. The place settings have been styled minimally with white china plates, white napkin and a single sprig of pretty eucalyptus.
An abundance of elegant foliage adorns the venue, including large trailing displays over tent poles, cute suspended branches dotted around, and trailing ivy climbing the tent ropes. The greenery theme carries through the the stationery too, which features beautiful palm leaves.
The bridal styling of this shoot is really something very special. Dazzling wedding dresses from Eliza Jane Howell and Christine Trewinnard featuring exquisite beading, lace and tassels create an opulent look to this styling concept. Also, if you’re looking for a bridal hat or headpiece you’ll find a few here!
I just love these styling ideas, captured so beautifully by Emma of Griffin Photography…
Lush Greenery
“I’ve worked as a wedding photographer at Cosawes Barton for a while now, and each time I I have been there I am always amazed about how beautiful it is. With the current lush greenery surrounding this venue I wanted to create a beautiful bridal story.
“The theme and colour scheme in my mind was green and white. Our wedding stylist brought another level to this with fairy lights and photographing during the magic hour so we would get a good effect.”
Luxury Fairytale
“We wanted something that was like a luxury fairytale that had stepped out of Vogue. As the photographer I wanted the story to be about the dresses within the greenery of the location. A hint of magic and luxury with couture dresses and magic light – I think we created just that.
“A simple, clean colour palette allows the lushness of the gardens at Cosawes Barton to make their way under the beauty of the sculpturally elegant stretch tent shapes. Botanical but not minimal, with a dash of Cornish magic hidden away through a tunnel of trees, the setting gives the perfect backdrop for the wonderful intricate detailing of Eliza Jane Howell’s latest collection, and the fabulous bespoke couture of Christine Trewinnard.”
