If you’ve never seen or even heard of pink Himalayan salt before now then you are in for a real treat, as this awesome wedding if full of it. Erica and Kevin wowed their guests with wedding styling which included modern marble, copper and pink Himalayan salt details. As soon as I saw the beautiful pictures by Abby Grace Photography I fell in love with this styling.
I’m going to hold my hands up and say I have never seen pink Himalayan Salt before now, but quite frankly it’s incredible. It’s claimed the rose quartz-hued ancient salt crystals have great health benefits, and when made into decorative items it is something very special.
Modern Details
Erica and Kevin used beautiful pink Himalayan salt for an amazing escort card display of shot glasses, candle votives and as the plate chargers at their place settings on the top table. What a wonderful item to keep as a wedding memento.
They used marble patterns to contrast the modern rose quartz hues, including in their fabulous two tier wedding cake, table runners, invitations and menu cards. There are dazzling pops of copper throughout the styling too, with gorgeous modern cutlery, sparkling candle votives and fabulous tall structures that play host to spectacular floral displays that bring the room to life.
I adore the flowers used in this wedding. Erica’s bridal bouquet is full to the brim with roses, peonies, astilbes, dahlias, and black ball cornflowers. And it’s not often you see a bride and groom wearing matching shoes! Erica and Kevin both wore Stubbs and Wootton smoking loafers. Customised with a nod to their political views, each had their respective parties on the top!
This black tie celebration combines creativity and the most elegant Washington backdrop. Abby Grace’s pictures of Erica and Kevin’s wedding are a delight, and I hope you love them as much as I do.
