Picture of the Month – March 2018

And the winner is… Steve Grogan Photography!

Congratulations to Steve Grogan Photography, the winner of our March 2018 Picture of the Month. Steve’s emotional picture from Mel and Baz’s wedding received the most votes in our poll to become the third picture to go through to our Picture of the Year vote in January. Steve told us a bit about the picture, which was from one of his favourite weddings of 2017…

Range of Emotions

“I captured this moment during the wedding of Mel and Baz on 1st September 2017, at Billesley Manor in Warwickshire. I’d noticed a couple of the bridesmaids crying during the ceremony, and the occasion seemed to have got to this lady in particular, as she couldn’t hold in the tears even after the ceremony was over. The guests were waiting around as Mel and Baz were signing the register, so I made my move over to the far side of the room to capture this shot.

“I love the range of emotions; the laughter from the other guests contrasting with the tears. Plus the light in the ceremony room at Billesley Manor was just incredible. It was a wonderful day and one of my favourite weddings of 2017.”
