The styling team behind this shoot got together to create the most chilled out, quirky, whimsical bar setup we have seen for guys (or girls of course!).

“We think that a groom and his mates are just as important as a bride and her girlfriends. The concept for this styled shot came about after we conducted our own research. We searched for high-quality inspiration for grooms and their mates and found none.

“So, we sourced a striking, urban backdrop here in Brisbane and created an opulent outdoor lounge area complete with lush florals and an immaculately presented cigar bar.

“Serving Australian craft beers and top shelf whiskies to our lucky gents, the Gathering Events caravan bar was the perfect accompaniment to the scene. Carlin, our real life groom-to-be, and his mates enjoyed whisky tasting, learning about the delicacies of different single malt varieties. Accented with stunning calligraphy labels and signage, the whisky bar featured gorgeous vintage crystal decanters, props and florals.

“Finally, Wood and Beau treated our gents to a customised box of manly treats. This presented the groom-to-be with the perfect opportunity to ask his mates to be part of his wedding day.

“It was such a pleasure to help these lovely guys celebrate their friendship and spend some quality time together in the lead-up to the groom’s big day.”
